National Innovation Foundation Extends Deadline for Science Teacher Workshop Applications to December 9, 2023

National Innovation Foundation Announces Extended Application Deadline for National Science Teachers Workshop

The National Innovation Foundation of India has recently declared an extension for application submissions for the upcoming National Science Teachers Workshop. This workshop is part of the 9th edition of the India International Science Festival (IISF) 2023, which will take place at the DBT-THSTI-RCB Campus in Faridabad, Haryana, from January 17-20, 2024.

The event, themed ‘Education for Aspiring India,’ aims to gather innovative science teachers from secondary education across the nation. The extended deadline for the submission of applications is now set for December 9, 2023, allowing educators more time to register for this prestigious event.

Interested participants are required to complete a two-step registration process at the official IISF web portal. After general registration, applicants must log in and provide detailed information in the National Science Teachers Workshop section. Confirmation emails will be sent out once submissions are successfully received.

To be eligible, applicants must be secondary education science teachers with a record of innovative teaching methods. This includes the development of unique science experiments or activities, receipt of government awards for teaching, mentorship of students in science-based projects, creation of science teaching kits, efforts in science popularization, or the development of laboratory or other facilities to enhance the engagement with science.

The final selection of teachers for the workshop will be communicated via email to those who have been chosen to participate in this event, which promises to be a valuable platform for sharing ideas and advancing science education in India.
