National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Scheme: Rajasthan, India
The National Means Cum Merit Scholarship (NMMSS) Scheme is a centrally sponsored scheme that is implemented in Rajasthan, India, and all other states and union territories of India. The scheme is aimed at providing financial assistance to meritorious students from economically weaker sections (EWS) of society to encourage them to continue their education beyond the secondary level. The scholarship is provided to students studying in Class 9 to Class 12 in government, local body, and government-aided schools. The scholarship amount is Rs. 12,000 per annum, which covers the cost of tuition fees, books, and other necessary expenses for the education of the student.
