In a recent recruitment drive for Physical Training Instructors (PTIs) in Rajasthan, allegations have surfaced regarding candidates submitting fake degrees to the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSMSSB).
Dual Degree Scam: One common approach was acquiring two degrees concurrently. Candidates pursued courses like B.Ed. and BPEd simultaneously, an impossible feat since regular degrees mandate full-time dedication.
Fake University Scam: Some obtained their degrees from phony universities prevalent in India, which, although cheaper, are unrecognized by the government, rendering them pointless.
The RSMSSB, upon receiving numerous complaints, declared a rigorous investigation into the matter. They’ve committed to stringent actions against those found guilty and are reviewing all the documents of selected candidates to confirm their authenticity.
The exposure of this scam has critically dented the trust of Rajasthan’s unemployed youth. Given that the PTI recruitment was a significant event by RSMSSB, this revelation has cast doubts on the entire selection procedure’s legitimacy.
Fake degree scams aren’t restricted to just recruitments; they plague multiple sectors, from government positions, private jobs, to higher education. Being aware and cautious is paramount.
