Father of Prithviraj Chauhan
Prithviraj Chauhan’s father Someshwar Chauhan
Someshwar Chauhan was the father of the famous Indian king Prithviraj Chauhan. Someshwar Chauhan was the king of Ajmer and Delhi, and his reign is believed to have started around 1169 CE. He was a member of the Chauhan dynasty, which was one of the most powerful dynasties in northern India during the 12th and 13th centuries.
Not much is known about Someshwar Chauhan’s reign, as there are very few historical records from that time period. It is believed that he ruled from Ajmer and Delhi and was a just and fair king. He is also known to have fought against the Ghurids, who were a powerful Islamic dynasty that was trying to expand its territory in northern India.
Someshwar Chauhan is perhaps best known for being the father of Prithviraj Chauhan, who was one of the greatest warriors and kings in Indian history. Prithviraj Chauhan inherited his father’s kingdom when he was just 11 years old, and went on to become one of the most famous kings in Indian history.
