संगति का महत्व: एक प्रेरक प्रसंग

एक बार, एक शिकारी शिकार की खोज में निकला, परंतु उसे कोई शिकार नहीं मिला। थकान और निराशा के बीच, वह एक वृक्ष के नीचे विश्राम करने के लिए रुक गया। उस दिन पवन की गति तीव्र थी, जिससे वृक्ष की छाया लगातार घटती-बढ़ती रही, और डालियों के हिलने से उसकी नींद में खलल पड़ रही थी।

इसी बीच, एक अत्यंत सुंदर हंस वहाँ से गुजरा और उसने देखा कि शिकारी धूप से परेशान हो रहा है। उसे आराम पहुंचाने के लिए, हंस ने पेड़ की एक डाली पर अपने पंख फैलाकर बैठ गया, ताकि उसकी छाया में शिकारी सुकून से सो सके।

लेकिन कुछ ही समय में, एक कौआ आया और उसी डाली पर बैठ गया। उसने शिकारी पर मल विसर्जन कर दिया और वहाँ से उड़ गया। इससे शिकारी जाग गया और उसने देखा कि हंस डाली पर बैठा है। गुस्से में उसने धनुष से एक बाण चलाया, जो सीधे हंस को लगा।

मरते समय, हंस ने कहा, “मैं तो आपकी सेवा में लगा था, मैं तो आपको छाँव प्रदान कर रहा था। मेरा क्या दोष है कि आपने मुझे ही मार डाला?”

शिकारी ने उत्तर दिया, “भले ही आपका जन्म उच्च परिवार में हुआ हो और आपके संस्कार शुद्ध हों, लेकिन आपसे एक गलती हुई। जब कौआ आपके पास आया, तो आपको तत्काल वहाँ से उड़ जाना चाहिए था। उस दुष्ट कौए के साथ थोड़ी भी संगति ने आपको मृत्यु के द्वार तक पहुँचा दिया।”

शिक्षा: यह प्रसंग हमें सिखाता है कि संसार में संगति का बहुत महत्व है। जो व्यक्ति मन, कर्म और बुद्धि से पवित्र और उच्च होते हैं, उन्हें नकारात्मक और हानिकारक संगत से सदैव दूरी बनाकर रखनी चाहिए। एक बुरी संगति उनके सभी अच्छे कर्मों और संस्कारों को नष्ट कर सकती है।

सदैव प्रसन्न रहिए – जो प्राप्त है, वही पर्याप्त है। जिसका मन मस्त है, उसके पास समस्त है।

इस प्रेरक प्रसंग को पढ़कर और समझकर हम अपने जीवन में सकारात्मक परिवर्तन ला सकते हैं। अच्छी संगति में रहकर और सकारात्मक विचारों को अपनाकर हम एक सफल और संतुष्ट जीवन जी सकते हैं।

“The Importance of a Good Company: An Enlightening Tale”

Once, a hunter went out in search of prey, but he found none. Exhausted and disheartened, he stopped to rest under a tree. That day, the wind was strong, causing the tree’s shadow to constantly shift as its branches swayed.

Meanwhile, an exceptionally beautiful swan passed by and noticed the hunter troubled by the sunlight, unable to sleep comfortably. To provide him relief, the swan spread its wings and perched on a branch, casting its shadow over the hunter so he could rest peacefully.

However, soon after, a crow arrived and perched on the same branch. It looked around and, without any thought, defecated on the hunter and flew away. This woke the hunter up, and upon seeing the swan on the branch, he became angry. He quickly grabbed his bow and arrow and shot the swan.

As the swan lay dying, it said, “I was serving you, I was providing you shade, and you killed me? What fault did I commit?”

The hunter replied, “Although you were born in a high family, your thoughts are as beautiful as your appearance, your manners are pure, and even your intentions towards me were noble as you sat on the branch to serve me. However, you made a mistake by not flying away when the crow came to sit beside you.”

“The company of that wicked crow, even for a moment, has brought you to the doors of death.”

Moral of the Story:
This tale teaches us the importance of companionship in the world. Those who are pure in mind, actions, and intellect should always maintain a distance from the crows of the world. A bad company can destroy all the good deeds and virtues.

Always stay happy – what you have is enough.
He whose mind is contented has everything.
