Question:- Devoted leave was withdrawn in July 23, now due to DA increasing from 42% to 46%, will the arrears of dedicated leave be received in cash or deposited in GPF?
Answer:- In this regard, contact your concerned treasury/sub-treasury office and prepare a dedicated leave arrear bill as per their instructions so that there is no possibility of objection in the bill because the following two situations can be seen for such bills. Both these types have been issued by different treasuriesBills are being passed:-1 ▪️There is arrears of DA, hence as per the order of DA arrears, arrears of dedicated leave will be deposited in GPF/GPF 2004.
2 ▪️ Currently, as per State Government Order No. F.1(12) Finance (Rules) 2005 dated 06/02/2009, 15 days of dedicated leave is paid in cash and GPF will not be deducted from the dedicated leave. There are instructions.
Therefore, no GPF will be deducted from the arrears of dedicated leave.
Earlier, when 30 days of dedicated leave was available, GPF was deducted from it. At that time, the difference amount of DA in SL arrears was also deposited in GPF.
